How is it powered?
It requires a dedicated circuit. While this makes the installation more involved, it prevents the possibility of overloading a circuit which can cause fires and trip circuit breakers. It also allows for a more powerful heater. It can be connected to an existing 20 amp circuit. A GFCI breaker would be used as needed for shower applications.
How is it controlled?
It is controlled by a wired digital thermostat that controls the temperature and is programmable for automatic heater operation so it will operate automatically if you want it to. The fan can also be turned on separately from the heater. It is a standard HVAC thermostat and can be changed out for any other one if desired. It can also be controlled with a switch or timer if desired without having to install the thermostat .
Will it fit in my wall?
It is made to fit into a 2x4 interior wall with drywall. Any house built after 1960 should have drywall. Here is a quick video to fully answer your question: Wall compatibility.
How is it installed in the wall?
Installation involves cutting 2 holes in the wall. One near the ceiling for the heater and one near the floor for the return vent. The duct is first cut to length and insulation is secured to it in the room. It is then dropped down the wall and connected to the heater with a hose clamp. Can it be installed outside of the wall on the surface?
Yes, It can be installed in a 2x4 framed surface mounted box. The entire unit would fit in the box and no holes would need to be cut into the wall. An video will be available soon showing this installation.
Is there an air filter on it?
Yes, there is a mesh filter behind the intake cover that can be removed, cleaned and reinstalled.
How many square feet can it heat?
This varies depending on climate, insulation and whether it will be used for primary or supplemental heating. For primary heating, it can heat ~100 square feet. For supplemental heating (providing additional heat while furnace is heating house), it can heat up to 200 square feet.
How difficult is it to install? Is it a DIY project?

Where do I get parts for it?
Parts will be available on this website for a reasonable cost after the warranty expires.
How long is the warranty? How does it work?
The warranty is 3 years and covers the entire heater. We will send replacement parts if needed with no shipping costs.
Can these be used to heat a shower?
There are plans for a future model that can be installed in the shower.
Where are these available?
The initial model is 120 volts, 60 hertz which allow it to be used in North America. Additional models will be made in the future for 240 volt and 50 hertz applications like Europe.
Can these be used in Europe or outside North America?
There are two issues with Europe. The wall compatibility of this heater in European walls is unknown at this time and the voltage and frequency of the initial model is not compatible.
When will the high output models be available?
It will be available about 6 months after the release of the standard model.
