DUCTED HEATER FEATURES

The Ducted Heating System provides the following benefits:

  • It creates an even temperature throughout a room and also creates circulation. 

  • It works perfectly for heating a bathroom as it takes up no floor space and since the electrical is mounted entirely within the wall, it is completely safe around water.

  • It operates off a programable thermostat allowing automatic operation to provide maximum comfort and energy savings.

  • It can directly heat a shower while the heater and electricity are safely mounted in the wall or ceiling away from water. Can also use a surface mounted duct and a ceiling mounted heater for simplified installation. 

  • Easy installation which requires no drywall repair or painting. All components are installed from inside the room through the two cutouts which makes it ideal for installation into an existing wall.

  • Only the intake and discharge vents are visible, and the vent covers can be painted to match the wall.

The Ducted Heating System provides energy savings:

  • Allows a space to be heated only when it’s occupied. 

  • Allows the bedroom or bathroom to be heated to a higher temperature putting the heat where it is needed the most while operating the rest of the house at a lower temperature. 

  • Makes the central heating system more efficient by recirculating the heat that collects near the ceiling.

  • Allows for heating only one room for comfort when it is not cold enough to run the central heating system. This would be great for a bedroom installation.

The ducted heater is built to last:

  • All parts are replaceable while the heater is in the wall and all parts will be readily available, so it only needs to be bought once and installed once.

  • Housing is galvanized and powder-coated so will last for decades even in the steamiest bathroom.

  • Heating elements operate at a cooler temperature than other heater types for a longer life.

  • It uses a heavy duty fan with large ball bearings. The fans have been tested for thousands of hours with no failures.

HEATER BUILD QUALITY AND REPAIRABILITY

The Ducted Heating System provides the following benefits:

  • Fan uses an internal rotor design for cool and quiet operation, minimal bearing loading and a very long life. It has large permanently lubricated ball bearings on both sides of the fan for maximum stability. It can be easily replaced if it is ever necessary.

  • Heater uses corrosion resistant oversized heating wire for cooler operation and a longer service life. It is easily replaced if needed.

  • The housing is galvanized and powdercoated for maximum protection against corrosion.

  • The heater housing is corrosion resistant aluminum.

  • The circuit board can be easily replaced if it is ever necessary.

  • Heater has an air filter that can be cleaned and reused. Just rinse it out, let it dry and then reinstall it.

  • Heater has sound insulation on the cover to make it even quieter.

  • The return vent cover is replaceable and additional ones will be available (at a later date) to direct the hot air where you want it.

Miscellaneous and Future Plans:

  • The heater can operate off any standard HVAC thermostat and can be changed out easily if desired.

  • A high-output model will be coming out for larger rooms like a bedroom or living room and will utilize a wifi thermostat. The standard size is perfect for a smaller room like a bathroom.

  • An add-on surface-mounted duct can move the heat from the bathroom into the shower with a selector lever.

  • The heater can be operated using a switch or timer if desired. The thermostat would not need to be installed.
